How to use this template
- Choose the first day of your planning week and the timezone your team will use. Match Cadalio's workspace timezone when moving the plan into the product.
- Choose an example week or a blank worksheet. Edit the destination, caption, title and intended time for each row; replace all illustrative wording before using it.
- Download the calendar CSV. In Google Sheets use File → Import → Upload; in Excel use Data → From Text/CSV and select UTF-8 if needed.
- Add the asset reference, owner, reviewer and approval status in your spreadsheet. Keep unfinished posts as drafts and leave room for changes.
- Review platform availability, media rights, links and local times before manually preparing any eligible posts in Cadalio.
Checks before turning a plan into a schedule
- One shared idea can become several publishing destinations. Adapt the caption and format to each selected account.
- Example times are placeholders for planning, not research-backed best posting times. Use your audience's observed activity and campaign needs.
- Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest customer publishing remain pending provider approval. TikTok uses inbox drafts with completion in its app; a calendar entry does not enable automatic publishing.
- Keep customer names, unpublished offers and other sensitive details in your own worksheet. Edits here stay in your browser and are not sent to Cadalio.

Common questions
Can I use this in Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Both applications can import the UTF-8 CSV. Formatting, dropdowns and formulas are not included; you can add them in your spreadsheet.
Can I import the calendar worksheet into Cadalio?
Use the separate Cadalio CSV import template for that. The planning worksheet has extra organizational columns and does not attach media or select accounts.
