How to schedule LinkedIn posts for a profile or team

Schedule LinkedIn posts when you have time to prepare the idea, then leave room to respond after publication. Cadalio currently enables customer profile connections and has passed real profile text, photo, video and scheduled-publishing tests. Company Pages require separate Community Management approval and are not enabled for customers yet.

LinkedIn profile publishing is available. Company-Page access is pending approval. The current profile connection publishes publicly and does not provide LinkedIn profile analytics.

Decide whether the author is a person or a company

A personal-profile post is attributed to the member who authorizes the connection. A company-Page post represents the organization and needs different permissions. Knowing the destination first helps you choose the voice, review process and available publishing route.

In Cadalio today, connect your profile from Social accounts and confirm the displayed name. Do not assume that administering a LinkedIn Page makes that Page available through the profile connection. Cadalio's Page integration is waiting for separate provider approval and production acceptance.

Keep company announcements as drafts while that access is pending, then use LinkedIn's native publishing tools. A planned draft can preserve the wording and asset for review; it is not a promise that an unavailable Page connection will publish automatically at a selected time.

A founder can write a personal explanation of a company update without impersonating the company Page. Make the authorship clear and only state what the person is authorized to share. If both versions are needed, prepare two distinct briefs and keep the review responsibilities visible.

Turn a useful idea into a specific post

Start with one point your reader can use. It might be a lesson from a project, a process that saved confusion or a practical answer to a recurring question. Describe the real situation and the action taken before adding a broader conclusion.

For example, a founder explaining a scheduling change can say what used to require manual work, what changed and how the team checked it. An unsupported claim about saving hours for every customer is less useful than an accurate account of the change. Get permission before naming a client or including a customer result.

Write an opening that establishes the subject in the first few lines. Use short paragraphs for a reader on a phone. Finish with a relevant next step or a question you actually want to discuss; there is no need to attach an unrelated question to every announcement.

Adapt the wording for LinkedIn rather than pasting a TikTok caption. A short video can stay the same asset while the explanation changes. If the professional context needs a different cut or image, create that version separately before attaching it.

Use formats the composer actually supports

The current LinkedIn composer supports a text post, photos and a single MP4 video. It allows up to twenty photos, validates the available media and shows the intended destination. For video, Cadalio currently checks a duration of three seconds to thirty minutes along with size and format requirements.

LinkedIn captions in Cadalio have a three-thousand-character limit. Treat that as an input boundary, not a recommended length. You can include a useful URL in the text, but this guide does not promise a custom rich-link card, an editable preview image or a separate article-publishing product.

Do not upload a PDF expecting a LinkedIn document carousel. The current Cadalio format list does not include document posts, polls or long-form LinkedIn articles. Use LinkedIn's native editor for those formats and keep the native-publishing task in your planning routine.

Posts from the current Cadalio profile route use public visibility. Review the intended audience before scheduling sensitive information. If you need a restricted audience setting that Cadalio does not expose, use an appropriate native route rather than relying on a caption note to restrict access.

Connect, review and schedule the profile post

A profile sign-in and a company-Page entitlement are different things. If the intended destination does not appear, check account availability instead of scheduling to a personal profile by accident. When permissions expire, reconnect through the ordinary authorization flow and confirm the account again.

If publishing reports an uncertain outcome, inspect the actual profile before creating another post. Cadalio handles uncertain provider responses carefully to reduce duplicate publishing; repeated manual copies can defeat that protection.

  1. Open Social accounts, choose the available LinkedIn profile connection and authorize it through LinkedIn. Confirm the resulting name before creating content.
  2. Create a post from the calendar and select that profile as the destination. Choose Text post, Photos or Video as appropriate.
  3. Attach approved media when needed. Wait for upload and processing checks to finish, then inspect the preview.
  4. Write the LinkedIn caption and review names, claims, links and public visibility. Confirm any client or colleague permissions.
  5. Choose the date in the workspace timezone, review validation and schedule. If review is required, complete the authorized approval workflow first.
  6. After dispatch, inspect the LinkedIn destination's status and open the actual post. Respond to comments in LinkedIn; Cadalio's internal comments are a different workflow.

Use approvals where responsibility is shared

Free and Creator each include one member. Pro adds collaboration and approvals, with three workspaces and three members per workspace. Agency has no plan-based workspace or member limit. Choose the plan and access roles for the people who actually need to review content.

Keep a short context note beside the draft: why it is being posted, who supplied the fact and what still needs checking. Ask a reviewer to assess the current caption, media and destination rather than a screenshot from an earlier version.

If the caption or media changes after approval, check whether the current version needs renewed review before scheduling. An old positive comment is not a substitute for the product's approval state. Keep final publishing permissions with the appropriate workspace role.

For a Page that is not yet enabled in Cadalio, use the draft and team review as preparation, then carry out publication natively. Record who owns that last action so the team does not mistake a reviewed draft for an active scheduled job.

Set up a clear social media approval workflow

Choose a rhythm you can support

A useful initial rhythm might be two prepared posts per week with different jobs: a practical explanation and a lesson from real work. That is a planning example, not a LinkedIn algorithm rule or a minimum frequency needed for reach.

Choose times when your intended readers are plausibly available and you can check the conversation afterward. A weekday morning and a lunch slot can be two hypotheses to test. Neither is a verified universal best time; audience location, topic and format can change the outcome.

Confirm the workspace timezone rather than doing a mental conversion on every post. When targeting more than one region, label the audience in your brief and inspect the calendar date. Daylight-saving changes can move the relationship between your local hour and the reader's hour.

Find your own posting-time evidence

Measure profile results in the right place

Cadalio's current profile permission supports publishing, not LinkedIn personal-profile analytics. Check the native LinkedIn analytics available to your account for performance. Do not expect a Cadalio channel report or best-time suggestion to infer metrics that the provider does not supply.

Choose a result that fits the post. A how-to might aim for useful comments and relevant visits to a guide. A hiring update might aim for qualified applicants. Record what you can observe and avoid treating all interaction counts as equivalent business outcomes.

After several comparable posts, review the topic and the response together. If people misunderstood the message, improve the explanation before changing the hour. If a post started useful conversations, preserve the lesson and prepare a fresh follow-up rather than assuming an identical repost will repeat the result.
