Review social posts with a clear approval workflow
When several people contribute to a brand's social accounts, a clear handoff is more useful than another chat message. Cadalio keeps content preparation, review and publishing permissions in the workspace where the post lives.
Team collaboration and approvals are included in Pro and Agency. Assign the right workspace role before handing over publishing responsibility.
Agree who prepares and who approves
Invite teammates to the appropriate workspace and assign a role that matches their work. Someone who only needs to review results should not be given publishing access. Keep each client's content in the intended workspace so account selection and review remain clear.
Before preparing a campaign, agree who checks the copy, media, destination accounts and final timing. An approval should cover the actual post that will publish, including each network's settings.
Make the handoff concrete
- Prepare the post with its media, captions and selected destinations.
- Review the preview for each platform, including titles, privacy choices and formats.
- Use Send for approval where the workspace supports that workflow.
- Have the reviewer check the actual content and publishing settings, then approve publishing or leave a team note describing the changes needed.
- Confirm that the accepted content has the intended publishing date and valid account connections.
Treat changes after review deliberately
If the caption, media or destination changes, review what will now go out before publishing. A previously reviewed screenshot or conversation should not substitute for checking the current post.
Keep drafts for content that is missing a client decision. A draft is a useful holding state; it does not mean the post is scheduled. Check the calendar and post status before assuming an item is ready to dispatch.
Keep access separate from content history
Disconnect a channel when publishing access should end. Its past posts and analytics can remain useful for reporting. Removing access and deleting a record are separate actions, and Cadalio asks for confirmation where a destructive change is involved.
Workspace approvals do not replace platform permissions. The connected account still needs valid authorization, and publishing depends on the network's approval and eligibility requirements.
