Schedule YouTube videos and Shorts

Choose the channel and format first

Open Social accounts and connect the YouTube channel you manage through Google's authorization screen. If you manage multiple channels, select the intended channel during authorization and confirm its name in Cadalio. Signing in to Cadalio with Google is separate from granting access to a YouTube channel.

In Create a post, choose that connected channel and select Video or Short. A title tells viewers what to expect; the description can hold supporting links and context. Review privacy and the audience setting before scheduling.

From upload to scheduled post

1. Upload your video and wait for transfer and media processing to finish.
2. Select the YouTube destination and its Video or Short format.
3. Add the title and description, then review visibility and the made-for-kids setting.
4. Check the YouTube preview. For a Short, check the framing in the vertical preview.
5. Choose Schedule, confirm the date and timezone, and save. Track the destination in All posts.

What to check before publishing

• Cadalio accepts videos up to 5 GB, within your remaining storage. Accepted uploads still need to meet YouTube's requirements.
• Google permissions, API project approval and channel quotas affect publishing. Unverified upload projects can be restricted to private viewing.
• YouTube Community photos and text posts are not published through Cadalio. Its YouTube connection publishes videos and Shorts.
• A scheduled time is the intended dispatch time. YouTube processing can take longer before a video becomes viewable.

Confirm the result on the correct channel

After dispatch, check the YouTube destination's status and open the resulting post. If it needs attention, use the information icon to read the cause before retrying. Reconnect the channel when authorization expires; do not create another upload to resolve an uncertain publishing result.
